About the Organisation
DEVI Sansthan is a 32-year-old ISO 9001-certified non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The organization works across multiple states in India, implementing impactful education and social development programs. With a strong commitment to improving learning outcomes, DEVI Sansthan is currently focused on strengthening Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) initiatives in partnership with government and community stakeholders.
Position Summary
DEVI Sansthan is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and result-oriented Team Leader to lead and manage a team of 20–30 Field Officials. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership and people management skills, with prior experience in the education or social development sector. This role requires a proactive individual who can motivate teams, monitor program implementation, and ensure the successful achievement of organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 20–30 Field Officials.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of FLN programs across assigned districts/regions.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor program quality, provide guidance, and resolve implementation challenges.
- Set performance targets and ensure timely achievement of project objectives.
- Monitor field staff performance through regular reviews, coaching, and feedback.
- Prepare periodic reports, presentations, and documentation for internal management and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate effectively with senior management, district officials, schools, and project partners.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, processes, reporting systems, and quality standards.
- Manage administrative responsibilities related to field operations, attendance, documentation, and resource utilization.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, discipline, and a positive work culture within the field team.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MSW – Master of Social Work preferred).
- Prior experience in the Education Sector, NGO, or Social Development Programs is essential.
- Proven experience in leading and managing field teams.
- Strong understanding of project implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to work under deadlines and achieve performance targets.
- Maximum age: 45 years.
