Job Title: Medical Officer – CIPLA Palliative Care

Location: Pune - Warje

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medical Officer to provide high-quality palliative care to patients across inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings. The role involves patient assessment, clinical management, multidisciplinary collaboration, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings.
• Conduct daily ward rounds and implement patient care plans.
• Perform minor bedside procedures (e.g., urinary catheterization, nasogastric tube insertion, wound care).
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, training, and continuous quality improvement.
• Adhere to organizational policies, clinical governance, and patient confidentiality standards.

Eligibility

• MBBS from a recognized institution.
• Valid Maharashtra Medical Council registration.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi and Marathi preferred.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Night).
• Willingness to travel for home care patient visits.
