Full job description
We are seeking a Design Engineer to manage end-to-end design activities for water and sewage treatment plants (STP). You will handle everything from initial tender drawings and 3D modeling to technical upgrades and on-site execution support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Layouts: Prepare GA drawings, P&IDs, Hydraulic Flow Diagrams (HFD), piping/cable routing, and foundation layouts.
- Standardization & 3D: Develop standard designs for containerized plants and 3D STP layouts—specifically focusing on MBR and FMR processes.
- Documentation: Create technical Design Reports and update As-Built drawings in coordination with the project execution team.
- Site & Sales Support: Visit sites to evaluate existing equipment for the sales team, attend design finalization meetings, and resolve on-site design deviations.
- System Upgrades: Drive continuous technical upgradation of current systems.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
- Proven experience in STP/ETP design (specifically MBR and FMR processes).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) or equivalent 3D layout software.
- Ability to travel for site visits and client meetings.
