Full job description

About Cerebellum Academy

Cerebellum Academy is a medical education platform built by some of India's leading educators. We help MBBS students, interns and doctors prepare for NEET PG, INI-CET and FMGE through live and recorded classes, question banks, grand tests and mentorship, all built on content that is Conceptual, Clinical, Comprehensive, Relevant and Revisable. Our educators have taught over 10 lakh students, and social media is where much of that community first discovers us.

Role Overview

The Social Media Lead owns Cerebellum Academy's social media presence end to end: strategy, content, team and results. You will build and lead a team of Social Media Executives and be accountable for how the brand shows up and grows on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn. You will report to the leadership team and work closely with faculty, marketing, sales and product.

General Responsibilities

● Ownership. Be accountable for the performance, quality and reputation of all social media channels.

● Team leadership. Lead, mentor and review the work of 3–4 Social Media Executives. Allocate tasks, set the quality bar, hold weekly reviews and one-on-ones, and support hiring and onboarding.

● Planning. Own the monthly and weekly content calendar, aligned with exam cycles (NEET PG, INI-CET, FMGE), course launches, events and faculty availability.

● Brand and quality. Guard the brand voice, visual identity and content standards. Give final approval on content before it is published.

● Content accuracy. Set up and enforce a faculty review process so that all medical and academic content is correct before it goes live.

● Reporting. Report results, insights and learnings to the leadership team on a regular schedule.

● Collaboration. Work with faculty, marketing, sales, product and student-support teams on campaigns, launches and announcements.

● Community and reputation. Define response guidelines, handle sensitive comments and escalations, and manage any reputation risks on social channels.

● Budget and vendors. Manage social media tools, budget and external partners such as freelancers, editors, designers and videographers.

● Industry awareness. Keep track of trends, new formats and competitors, and run structured experiments.
