Job Overview:

The Billing Executive – Insurance & Eligibility Verification (Fresher) role is ideal for candidates looking to start their career in the US Healthcare industry. The candidate will be responsible for verifying patients’ insurance coverage and eligibility prior to services. Training will be provided to ensure understanding of processes, tools, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Insurance Verification:
• Verify patient insurance details through payer portals or calls.
• Ensure accuracy of policy details, coverage, and benefits.
• Eligibility Verification:
• Check patient eligibility, co-pay, deductibles, and coverage limits.
• Update and maintain accurate records in the system.
• Claims Support:
• Assist the billing team in resolving claim-related issues.
• Support in reducing claim denials through accurate verification.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain proper documentation of verification activities.
• Prepare reports as required by the team/management.

Qualifications:

• Freshers are welcome (0–1 year of experience preferred).
• Basic understanding of US Healthcare (training will be provided).
• Any graduate (preferred).

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare processes (preferred but not mandatory).
