Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Home Health Medical Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation, assigning accurate ICD-10-CM codes, and ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory guidelines. This role is critical for optimizing reimbursement, reducing claim denials, and maintaining coding compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

 Assign ICD-10-CM codes to diagnoses based on clinical documentation for home health services.

 Review OASIS (Outcome and Assessment Information Set) documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency in coding.

 Collaborate with clinicians and healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.

 Ensure compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and payer-specific guidelines related to home health coding.

 Utilize coding software and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

 Identify and report potential coding errors, discrepancies, and denials, ensuring timely resolution.

 Stay updated on coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices through continued education and training.

Required Qualifications:

 Knowledge: Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, OASIS guidelines, Medicare billing, and PDGM (Patient-Driven Groupings Model).

 Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and medical coding software.  Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accurate and compliant coding to prevent audits and revenue loss.

 Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with healthcare providers and compliance teams.

Pay: ₹17,366.76 - ₹110,569.10 per month
