- Improving processes: Identifying ways to improve quality, reduce costs, and reduce wait times
- Developing policies: Establishing policies to ensure efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Maintaining patient records: Keeping patient records up to date
- Managing inventory: Keeping inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Collaborating with other departments: Working with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure high-quality care
- Representing the hospital: Representing the hospital for medico-legal issues
- Collecting patient feedback: Maintaining and implementing a patient feedback process
