About the Role

Looking for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET) to join our Plant Operations & Manufacturing Team.

We are particularly interested in final-year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering students graduating in 2026, as well as suitable recent graduates/alumni. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to begin their professional career in Plant Operations and Manufacturing from September 2026.

** Candidates with strong analytical acumen, good computer knowledge, and interest in AI, automation, data analysis and digital manufacturing tools will be preferred.

Eligibility

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Final-year students graduating in 2026 are eligible.
Recent graduates and suitable alumni candidates may also apply.
Candidates from reputed engineering colleges, particularly from East India, are preferred.
Strong academic performance and good technical aptitude.
Willingness to work at Kolkata.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering and manufacturing fundamentals.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
Good computer proficiency and MS Office knowledge.
Knowledge/interest in AI, automation, ERP/MIS or data analysis will be an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, discipline and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in daily production and plant operations.
Monitor production processes and support achievement of production targets.
Prepare production and shift reports and maintain process records.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Planning teams.
Monitor machine utilization and report downtime/abnormalities.
Assist in Root Cause Analysis, corrective actions and process improvement.
Support 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety and quality standards.
Update ERP/MIS and support production data analysis.
Assist in reducing production losses, rework and wastage.
Support new product trials and process optimization activities.
