Position - Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)
Department: Plant Operations / Manufacturing
Location: Kolkata
CTC: ₹3 LPA to ₹4.8 LPA
Joining: September 2026
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

Looking for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET) to join our Plant Operations & Manufacturing Team.

We are particularly interested in final-year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering students graduating in 2026, as well as suitable recent graduates/alumni. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to begin their professional career in Plant Operations and Manufacturing from September 2026.

** Candidates with strong analytical acumen, good computer knowledge, and interest in AI, automation, data analysis and digital manufacturing tools will be preferred.

Eligibility

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
  • Final-year students graduating in 2026 are eligible.
  • Recent graduates and suitable alumni candidates may also apply.
  • Candidates from reputed engineering colleges, particularly from East India, are preferred.
  • Strong academic performance and good technical aptitude.
  • Willingness to work at Kolkata.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering and manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
  • Good computer proficiency and MS Office knowledge.
  • Knowledge/interest in AI, automation, ERP/MIS or data analysis will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, discipline and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily production and plant operations.
  • Monitor production processes and support achievement of production targets.
  • Prepare production and shift reports and maintain process records.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Planning teams.
  • Monitor machine utilization and report downtime/abnormalities.
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis, corrective actions and process improvement.
  • Support 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety and quality standards.
  • Update ERP/MIS and support production data analysis.
  • Assist in reducing production losses, rework and wastage.
  • Support new product trials and process optimization activities.
