Medical Counsellor jobs

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Patient Counsellor who can effectively bridge communication between clinicians and patients. The ideal candidate should have a science background and the ability to clearly explain disease conditions, treatment plans, and therapy details to patients with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with patients and clinicians to ensure clarity on diagnosis, therapy, and treatment plans.
• Provide counselling and guidance to patients regarding their medical journey, ensuring emotional comfort and understanding.
• Assist clinicians by relaying patient concerns and ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per hospital guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families about prescribed treatments, follow-ups, and preventive care.
• Support patient engagement initiatives and contribute to improving overall patient satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, or any Life Science field (mandatory).
• Prior experience in patient counselling or healthcare communication preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic attitude with the ability to handle sensitive patient situations.
• Confidence in interacting with clinicians and patients.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
