Educational Qualification : Holding Diploma in Critical care under State Medical of Faculty of West Bengal.

Employment type : Full time

Required experience : Should have minimum 3years working experience as a critical care technician in any reputed multispeciality hospital.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Patient monitoring: Set up and monitor ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, dialysis machines, and others critical equipment.
• Equipment maintenance : Do daily checks, calibration, troubleshooting, and basic repairs of ICU /ITU equipment. Report faults to biomedical engineering /authorized personnel.
• Assisting clinical team : Help doctors and nurses during intubation, central line insertion, CPR. bedside procedures .
• Specimen & sample handling : Collect blood/ gas samples, label, and send to lab Set up ABG machines .
• Infection control : Sterilize equipment, manage disposables, follow ICU protocols for asepsis .
• Documentation : Maintain equipment logs, patient monitoring charts, stock registers, and handover reports.
• Emergency response :Be on standby for code blue/ rapid response. Ensure crash cart, defibrillator, and oxygen are ready.
• Training & support :Train staff/nurses on how to use ventilators, pumps, monitors Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals
