Job Summary

A reputed 250-bed multispeciality corporate hospital in Vijayawada is seeking a qualified and dedicated MD Family Medicine specialist to join its medical team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare, diagnosing and treating common medical conditions, managing chronic illnesses, and ensuring quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical consultations and primary healthcare services to patients across different age groups.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and established medical guidelines.
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and other common illnesses.
• Provide preventive healthcare advice, health education, and patient counselling.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend diagnostic investigations as clinically indicated.
• Refer patients to relevant specialists when advanced evaluation or treatment is required.
• Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow hospital protocols, medical ethics, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards

Educational Qualifications

• MD in Family Medicine from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the relevant State Medical Council, as applicable

Experience

As per hospital requirements. Candidates with relevant clinical experience may apply.
