Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair biomedical and medical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules.
• Conduct equipment inspections, calibration, and performance testing.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate with vendors for complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate equipment records, service reports, and maintenance logs.
• Ensure medical equipment complies with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Assist clinical staff with equipment operation and provide user training when required.
• Evaluate new medical equipment and provide technical recommendations for procurement.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support hospital accreditation, audits, and biomedical safety programs.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, hospitals, and clinical departments.
• Follow electrical, radiation, infection-control, and workplace safety procedures where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Knowledge of medical equipment, electronics, instrumentation, and basic troubleshooting.
