EMT – Emergency Medical Technician (Ambulance)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our ambulance team in Gurugram. The candidate will be responsible for providing emergency medical assistance, patient care, and safe transportation of patients to hospitals or healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate emergency medical care to patients during ambulance transportation.
• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and medical condition.
• Provide appropriate first aid and emergency medical intervention as required.
• Perform BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) procedures when required.
• Assist with CPR, airway management, oxygen administration, and other emergency procedures.
• Safely handle and transport patients while maintaining their comfort and safety.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, hospitals, and other emergency medical personnel.
• Maintain ambulance medical equipment, medicines, and emergency supplies.
• Ensure all emergency equipment is available and in proper working condition.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ambulance documentation.
• Follow emergency medical protocols, safety standards, and company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the ambulance at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an EMT, preferably in an ambulance or emergency medical services environment.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred/required as per role requirements.
• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and patient handling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergency situations.
• Relevant EMT/Paramedical qualification or certification.
