Job Summary:

Medall Clumax Diagnostics, Jayanagar, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Report Typist to handle transcription and typing of medical reports such as diagnostic summaries, radiology/imaging reports, and physician notes. The candidate must ensure accuracy, timely delivery, and confidentiality of all patient-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe dictated or handwritten medical content into digital reports with accuracy.
• Type and format reports including radiology findings, lab summaries, discharge notes, and consultation letters.
• Ensure reports are free of spelling, grammatical, and typographical errors.
• Cross-verify unclear data with medical staff or senior typists.
• Maintain organized digital and/or physical records of completed reports.
• Upload finalized reports into the diagnostic system/EMR.
• Handle confidential medical information as per HIPAA/local compliance standards.
• Support the front desk/admin team with document-related tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline; medical transcription or typing certification preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a diagnostic center, hospital, or clinical documentation.
• Typing speed of 50+ words per minute with 95%+ accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of medical terms, abbreviations, and report formatting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, EMR systems, and typing software.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and maintain focus under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in radiology, or diagnostic lab report typing.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software/reporting platforms (e.g., PACS, HIS).
• Basic knowledge of ICD/CPT codes is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
