Einstein Box focused on creating playful, screen-free learning experiences for children 0 to 12 year olds of age. The company designs engaging learning kits that promote brain development, a love for books, and meaningful parent-child interaction. Its science kits feature hands-on experiments that spark curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills in young learners. Einstein Box aims to build the world’s leading learning program for kids and inspire the next generation of creators and problem solvers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site or contract Illustrator role based in Delhi, India. The Illustrator will create original illustrations and visual assets for early-learning and science kits, including characters, scenes, and activity pages tailored to young children. Responsibilities include collaborating with content writers, product manager, and manager to translate concepts and story write ups into clear, engaging visuals. The role involves refining artwork based on feedback, preparing production-ready files, maintaining brand consistency across visuals, and contributing ideas to enhance visual storytelling.

Qualifications

  • A portfolio showcasing illustrative work, preferably including children’s content; relevant education or training in art, design, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Candidates should have Bachelor of Fine Art and related degree qualification.
  • Candidates should possess strong Digital Illustration and required Graphic Design skills for creating engaging visuals.
  • Candidates should possess solid Drawing and Painting skills to develop expressive characters, scenes, and hands-on art assets.
  • Candidates should possess Graphics-related skills, including layout, composition, and visual storytelling for print and digital formats.
  • Ability to design for children’s educational products, with an understanding of age-appropriate content and playful aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign or equivalent tools).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and openness to iterative feedback.

Your portfolio is more important to us than your degree or exact years of experience.
