Junior Doctor – In-Patient Department (IPD)
Location: Phoenix Medicity, Chettuva, Thrissur
Department: In-Patient Department

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Doctor to provide quality clinical care to in-patients under the supervision of Consultants, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, documentation and adherence to NABH-aligned patient safety and clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessment, clinical examination and daily rounds as assigned.
- Monitor patient condition and promptly escalate clinical deterioration to Consultants.
- Implement treatment plans and medical orders as directed by Consultants.
- Maintain accurate and timely case sheets, progress notes, medication charts and discharge documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology and other clinical departments.
- Assist Consultants during procedures and clinical interventions.
- Ensure safe medication practices, infection prevention and patient identification protocols.
- Communicate appropriately with patients and bystanders regarding routine clinical care.
- Participate in emergency response, handovers, audits and quality improvement activities.
- Follow hospital SOPs, clinical protocols, ethical standards and NABH requirements.
Eligibility:
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Medical Council / NMC.
- Previous hospital/IPD experience preferred.
- Good clinical assessment, communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and participate in on-call duties.
