Education: MBBS from a recognized medical college/university

License: Valid registration with NMC / State Medical Council (licensed medical practitioner)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled, empathetic, and ethically grounded MBBS Doctor to diagnose and treat sexual health concerns in a patient-centric manner. This role involves conducting clinical evaluations, developing evidence-based treatment plans, providing patient education, and coordinating care through appropriate referrals. The doctor must complete internal training modules and pass required assessments to become credentialed for independent case management, and remain up to date with medical guidelines and developments within the Indian healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:

· Conduct comprehensive medical and sexual health history-taking and appropriate clinical examinations (with informed consent and privacy safeguards).

· Diagnose and treat sexual health problems such as sexual dysfunction, sexual pain concerns, libido-related issues, relationship-associated sexual concerns (within medical scope), and common urogenital/sexual health complaints.

· Evaluate for underlying medical contributors (e.g., endocrine, metabolic, cardiovascular, medication-related, or mental health comorbidities) and identify red flags requiring urgent escalation.

· Order, interpret, and document relevant investigations as per clinical protocols; prescribe and monitor evidence-based therapies and follow-up plans.

· Provide patient and partner education on sexual health, safe practices, lifestyle modifications, and adherence to treatment plans, using a non-judgmental and inclusive approach.

Training & Credentialing:

· Attend and complete all assigned training modules (clinical protocols, communication skills for sensitive consultations, documentation standards, and compliance requirements).

· Pass internal assessments/exams to qualify for the seat of treatment (credentialing) and follow ongoing re-certification/quality requirements.

· Adhere to standard treatment pathways, escalation criteria, and clinical governance processes.

Patient Interaction:

· Build rapport and trust to create a safe and confidential environment for discussing sensitive concerns.

· Deliver clear, compassionate counselling and guidance; address myths/misinformation; support shared decision-making.

· Provide follow-up care, track outcomes, and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response and patient preferences.

Documentation & Compliance:

· Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation (history, assessment, diagnosis, prescriptions, consent, and follow-up) in line with organizational standards.

· Ensure compliance with applicable Indian medical regulations and professional ethical guidelines, including privacy/confidentiality, informed consent, and safe prescribing practices.

· Follow organizational protocols for incident reporting, adverse event documentation, and required public health reporting where applicable.

Collaboration & Referrals:

· Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., psychologists, gynecologists, urologists, dermatologists, endocrinologists, psychiatrists, wellness/health coaches) for holistic care.

· Refer cases promptly whenever required (e.g., complex comorbidities, suspected abuse/violence, refractory cases, surgical indications, infertility work-up, or severe mental health concerns).

· Participate in case discussions and peer reviews to maintain consistent clinical quality and patient safety.

Professional Development:

· Stay updated on the latest developments, advisories, and evidence-based guidelines relevant to sexual and reproductive health within the Indian healthcare context.

· Participate in CME activities, workshops, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions; contribute feedback to improve clinical protocols and training content.

Qualifications:

· Education: MBBS from a recognized institution.

· Licensure: Valid registration with NMC / State Medical Council and eligibility to practice medicine in India.

· Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, comfort in discussing sexual health sensitively, excellent communication and counselling skills, and high standards of ethics and confidentiality.

· Preferred: Prior exposure to sexual & reproductive health, family medicine, internal medicine, dermatology/venereology, urology, gynecology, or teleconsultation; certification or demonstrated interest in sexual medicine is a plus.
