RushCiti is a next-generation social commerce platform reimagining how people discover, shop, and engage online. We're building an intelligent platform that combines social experiences, content, community, and commerce into a single ecosystem. Currently in the MVP stage, we're assembling a small, high-performing team to help build the foundation for long-term growth.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Product Designer & User Research Lead to shape the product experience, customer journey, and user understanding of RushCiti from the ground up. You'll work closely with the founder and engineering team to design intuitive experiences, validate ideas through research, and help define how buyers, sellers, creators, and communities interact across the platform.

Initial Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile, including user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
• Create intuitive marketplace, social commerce, creator, and community experiences that improve engagement, trust, retention, and conversion.
• Conduct user research, customer interviews, usability testing, and competitor research to inform product decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering and leadership to define MVP scope, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Help shape the platform's long-term product experience strategy through research, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience designing consumer internet products such as ecommerce, marketplaces, social media, social commerce, creator platforms, or SaaS products.
• Strong expertise in UX/UI, interaction design, user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and design systems.
• Experience taking products from 0→1, conducting product discovery and validation, and working in startup environments.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior, engagement, retention, marketplace dynamics, and product strategy.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to work closely with founders and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools, modern AI products, and emerging consumer technology trends.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience, portfolio quality, technical thinking, and execution ability are valued more highly.
