Azim Premji Health Equity Fellowship for Postgraduate Doctors

Calling Postgraduate doctors (MBBS + MD/MS/DNB) who choose to care for the most vulnerable.

A purposeful choice

As a young Postgraduate doctor, you have several choices ahead of you. You can pick the beaten path or blaze a new one.

This is an invitation to take the road less travelled. To serve communities in some of the most underserved regions of India where good doctors and their expertise are the hardest to access.

This is an invitation to gain a unique perspective and to experience what it is to practice medicine with purpose.

Eligibility

  • Commitment to serve the underserved and resilience to work in not-for-profit hospitals.
  • MBBS + MD/MS/DNB in Anaesthesia, Community Medicine, Family Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, OBGYN, Paediatrics.
  • Registration with a State Medical Council.
  • Willingness to relocate to participating hospitals across India.
