We are a newly established Pharmaceutical PCD company with ambitious growth plans. As a new entrant in the market, we are building our foundation from the ground up. We are looking for a highly motivated leader to join us on the ground floor and help build our presence in Kerala.

The Role

This is a dual-role position that requires a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality. You will be responsible for building and managing a team of Medical Representatives while simultaneously taking independent charge of sales within the Ernakulam territory.

Because we are not yet an established player, this role requires tremendous effort, resilience, and a proactive approach. We do not micromanage; we are looking for a self-starter who can take full ownership of their territory and team with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Independent Territory Management: Actively promote and sell our pharmaceutical products to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies across the Ernakulam territory.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Medical Representatives in surrounding territories.
• Business Development: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key medical professionals and distributors from scratch.
• Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate a highly competitive market.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and team performance, ensuring sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate daily reports on field activities, doctor visits, and sales metrics.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record as a Medical Representative, Area Sales Manager, or First-Line Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Ernakulam pharmaceutical market, including existing relationships with local healthcare professionals and distributors.
• Leadership Skills: Experience managing, motivating, or mentoring a sales team is highly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial Drive: Extremely proactive, highly resilient, and comfortable working in a challenging, unstructured startup environment.
• Independence: Ability to take charge, make decisions, and drive results with minimal oversight.
• Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
