Position Overview:

The Medical Editor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of medical and promotional materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and an understanding of industry regulations to maintain compliance.

Role Requirements:

  • Edit and proofread scientific and promotional content for grammar, consistency, and accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to AMA style, brand guidelines, and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and account teams to refine materials
  • Verify references and citations for scientific accuracy
  • Assist with quality control during the production process
  • Maintain and update style guides and editorial standards
  • Work on multiple projects under tight deadlines while ensuring quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in medical or pharmaceutical editing
  • Strong knowledge of AMA style and industry regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
