Full job description

Job Title: Medical or Scientific Content Strategist

Company: DIGIPATH AI: Life Scanners HealthCare Pvt Ltd

Location: Remote (India)

Number of Positions: 1

Engagement: Part-time contractor

About DigiPath AI

DigiPath AI (Life Scanners HealthCare Pvt. Ltd.) builds AI-powered cancer screening technology — including VELscope Vx andDNA Ploidy analysis — to make early detection of oral and cervical cancer faster, more accessible, and more accurate. We're building the definitive digital knowledge base for oral and cervical cancer early-detection technology: work that speaks directly to clinicians and translates into earlier diagnosis and better outcomes.

About the Role

We're looking for a part-time Medical/Scientific Content Strategist to own our long-form clinical content — explainers, white papers, and scientific messaging that clinicians trust and cite. This is a hands-on writing and content-strategy role: you'll research, write, fact-check against published literature, and help build a regulatory-safe messaging framework that the rest of the team can build on. This is async, moonlighting-friendly work — no meetings required beyond a monthly sync — for someone who can independently turn complex clinical evidence into clear, accurate, and compelling content.

What You'll Own

  • Long-Form Clinical Content: Research, write, and publish 4–6 long-form clinical explainer pieces per month on oral and cervical cancer screening, diagnostics, and related clinical topics.
  • White Papers: Develop 2 white papers per quarter that hold up to clinical and scientific scrutiny.
  • Scientific Accuracy: Cross-check every claim against published literature before it goes out; flag anything that doesn't hold up.
  • Regulatory-Safe Messaging: Build and maintain a regulatory-safe messaging framework, so claims stay accurate, consistent, and compliant across all content.
  • Audience-Aware Writing: Write for a lay/professional hybrid audience — clear enough for patients and caregivers, credible enough for clinicians.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Medical Writing Experience: Demonstrated experience writing medical or scientific content — medical writing, scientific communications, medical education, or medical affairs support.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related healthcare discipline.
  • 3–5 years in medical writing, scientific communications, medical education, or medical affairs support
  • Scientific Acumen: Strong scientific/clinical knowledge with the ability to interpret and synthesize published literature accurately.
  • Regulatory Awareness: A clear, disciplined processfor verifying a clinical claim before it's published.
  • Clarity & Storytelling: Ability to simplify complex clinical topics (e.g., DNA Ploidy analysis) for a non-specialist without losing accuracy.
  • Self-Directed Ownership: Comfortable working independently and asynchronously, with strong ownership of deadlines and quality.
  • Availability: Able to commit a reliable 12–15 hours/week.

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing for CDSCO-regulated or CE-marked device companies
  • Background in oncology, cytology, or diagnostics-focused publications
  • Master's degree or above in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas

Why This Role

  • This work directly saves lives through earlier diagnosis. You'll help build the go-to knowledge base clinicians turn to for oral and cervical cancer screening — with real ownership over the content, the accuracy bar, and how it's messaged.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
