Job Title: Senior MIS Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior MIS Executive with strong expertise in Advanced Excel, MIS reporting, data management, and reporting automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analysing large datasets, preparing management reports and dashboards, automating repetitive reporting processes, and ensuring data accuracy to support effective business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities1. MIS Reporting & Data Management
- Collect, consolidate, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Develop customized reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all MIS reports.
- Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting databases.
2. Advanced Excel & Automation
- Use advanced Excel functions such as XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IFERROR, and other complex formulas.
- Create and manage Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot reports.
- Develop automated dashboards and reporting templates.
- Create and maintain Excel Macros and VBA scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting and improve process efficiency.
3. Dashboard & Business Intelligence
- Develop interactive Excel-based dashboards for management reporting.
- Support Power BI reporting and integration where required.
- Analyse business data and present meaningful insights through charts, dashboards, and visual reports.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight important trends or deviations.
4. Data Quality & Process Improvement
- Perform data validation, cleaning, transformation, and reconciliation.
- Ensure data integrity across different databases, reports, ERP/CRM systems, and reporting tools.
- Continuously improve existing MIS processes and reporting formats.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of business data.
5. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate required data.
- Understand reporting requirements from different departments and convert them into effective MIS formats.
- Provide timely reports and data insights to management.
- Manage multiple reporting requirements while meeting strict deadlines.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
- Hands-on experience with VBA and Macro development.
- Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization tools.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL queries is preferred.
- Strong understanding of data validation, cleaning, and transformation.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, CRM tools, and business intelligence applications.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in MIS reporting, data management, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Experience working with large datasets and automating reports will be preferred.
