Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and reliable Freelance Video Editor / Reel Editor who can work remotely on short-form social media content for Param and our client brands.

This is a completely work-from-home freelance opportunity, open to applicants across India.

The main focus will be editing reels and short-form videos for Instagram and other digital platforms. Candidates with motion graphics skills will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram reels and short-form video content
• Add clean transitions, text overlays, music, effects, and basic motion graphics where required
• Create engaging hooks in the first few seconds of the video
• Maintain the brand style and tone of each client
• Work according to briefs and references shared by Param
• Deliver work within agreed timelines
• Make reasonable revisions based on feedback
• Suggest improvements in pacing, visuals, and storytelling where suitable

Skills Required

• Good understanding of Instagram reels and short-form content
• Basic to strong video editing skills
• Knowledge of tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, VN, Canva or similar editing software
• Sense of timing, pacing, music, and visual storytelling
• Ability to follow creative briefs properly
• Motion graphics skills will be an added advantage
• Basic design sense will be preferred
• Reliable communication and timely delivery

Payment Structure

• Starting pay: ₹450 per content piece
• Pay may increase depending on:
• Editing effort
• Complexity of the reel
• Motion graphics requirement
• Turnaround time
• Quality and consistency of work
• Urgency of the project

As work volume increases, compensation will also be revised accordingly.
