About the role

FlairList Global is looking for an execution-focused Import Export Executive to support clients with business growth and international trade. You’ll work with business owners and entrepreneurs to understand their products, identify export opportunities, research international markets, and help coordinate trade transactions from sourcing through delivery.

This role combines client consulting, business development, export coordination, negotiation and trade operations. It’s suited to someone who enjoys working directly with clients and turning business opportunities into practical next steps.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with business owners, entrepreneurs and aspiring exporters to understand their businesses, products, goals and export readiness.
• Identify practical opportunities for business growth, market expansion and exporting.
• Research international markets, including buyer requirements, demand, pricing, trends and competitors.
• Prepare export opportunity reports and clear recommendations for clients.
• Explain and present relevant consulting, export mentorship and trade facilitation services.
• Follow up with qualified prospects, respond to questions and help convert suitable opportunities into clients.
• Onboard clients, understand their requirements and maintain regular professional communication.
• Identify potential international buyers, suppliers, distributors and business partners, and facilitate relevant connections.
• Coordinate trade activity across product selection, sourcing, pricing, negotiation, documentation, logistics, shipment and delivery.
• Communicate with buyers, suppliers, logistics providers, EXIM partners and internal teams to support smooth transactions.
• Participate in commercial discussions and negotiate pricing, terms and deal structures.
• Manage assigned consulting and export opportunities through follow-up, execution and closure.
• Maintain accurate CRM and sales pipeline records, consultation notes, action items and reports.
• Contribute to consulting and export revenue goals and identify opportunities to support existing clients further.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in export–import, trade operations, business development, sales, consulting or international business.
• At least one year of business consulting experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence communicating with business owners, buyers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Good negotiation, client-handling and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to research and understand businesses, products and markets.
• Interest in international markets, global trade and business growth.
• Strong organization, follow-up habits and a professional approach.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, Excel or Google Sheets, presentations and market research is preferred.
• Knowledge of export–import processes, trade documentation, logistics and commercial fundamentals is an advantage.
• A practical, ownership-focused approach and willingness to help execute recommendations.
• Ability to bring a personal laptop or desktop for work.

Work location
