Full job description
JOB DESCRIPTION – HOSPITAL BILLING MANAGER
- Manage and supervise all IP, OP, TPA, insurance, and cash billing operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of patient bills and settlements.
- Monitor billing staff performance and maintain daily billing reports.
- Verify billing accuracy, tariffs, package rates, and hospital policies.
- Coordinate with insurance/TPA teams for claim processing and approvals.
- Resolve billing discrepancies, patient queries, and payment-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing procedures and statutory requirements.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and MIS reports for management review.
- Train and guide billing staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform any other billing and revenue cycle responsibilities assigned by the management.
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Management, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Billing Executive/Billing Manager in a hospital.
Skills: Hospital billing software, TPA/insurance billing, MS Excel, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of hospital billing procedures.
