Job Description As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Plastic Product Design, you will support the design and development of automotive plastic components. You will assist in creating and updating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings, support product development activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and manufacturability. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn automotive design standards, engineering processes, and product development practices. Key Responsibilities • Assist in designing and developing automotive plastic components. • Prepare and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings. • Support engineering changes and product development activities. • Coordinate with design, manufacturing, tooling, CAE, and quality teams. • Maintain engineering documents, BOMs, and revision records. • Participate in design reviews, prototype development, and testing activities. • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company standards. Qualification • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering. • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering. • Freshers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Required Skills • Basic knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding. • Familiarity with CATIA V5, Siemens NX, or similar CAD software. • Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T; fundamentals. • Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced automotive environment.
