Job Overview :
To support operation, maintenance, monitoring, and housekeeping activities of utility and water treatment systems and develop technical competency through structured training, knowledge transfer, and hands-on exposure.
Responsibilities :
Operations
Assist in operation of ETP, STP, RO, UF, UV, EDI, DM, UPW, and utility systems.
Record process parameters and maintain shift logbooks.
Monitor pressures, flows, conductivity, pH, ORP, temperatures, and levels.
Perform routine checks and report abnormalities.
Participate in shift handover and communication activities.
Mechanical
Assist in maintenance of pumps, blowers, agitators, valves, pipelines, and rotating equipment.
Support preventive maintenance activities.
Carry out lubrication and housekeeping activities.
Assist in replacement of filters and consumables.
Electrical
Assist in operation and maintenance of MCCs, motors, VFDs, panels, and field devices.
Carry out basic electrical checks under supervision.
Support preventive maintenance activities.
Instrumentation
Assist in checking transmitters, gauges, analyzers, sensors, and PLC-based systems.
Support calibration and troubleshooting activities under supervision.
Chemical / Process
Assist in chemical preparation and dosing.
Collect samples and support laboratory analysis.
Monitor chemical consumption and maintain records.
Assist in process optimization and troubleshooting activities.
Documentation
Maintain logbooks, checklists, and records.
Ensure proper shift handover documentation.
Report abnormalities to supervisors immediately.
Reconcilation of spare, consumable & chemicals
Safety
Follow PPE and HSE requirements.
Participate in toolbox talks and safety training.
Adhere to Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO, and safety procedures.
Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices.
Training & Development : The selected candidates shall undergo structured training and handholding support covering.
Process Training : ETP/STP/RO/UF/UV/EDI/UPW systems / Process flow and equipment familiarization / Chemical dosing and water quality monitoring
Mechanical Training : Pumps, valves, blowers, bearings / Preventive maintenance / Alignment and lubrication practices
Electrical Training : Motors, MCCs, VFDs / Electrical safety / Basic troubleshooting
Instrumentation Training : Field instruments / Calibration basics / PLC and SCADA familiarization
Safety Training : PPE / LOTO / PTW system / Emergency response / Fire and electrical safety
Requirements :
