Team Leader

New York Burrito Company | Mumbai

New York Burrito Company is a fast-growing vegetarian Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand with 12 outlets across Mumbai and is now expanding its presence across India.

We are looking for a Team Leader to work on the shop floor and handle food assembly, billing, customer service, online orders and day-to-day outlet activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble food orders as per customer requirements and company standards.
  • Add prescribed ingredients, sauces, fillings and portions as per the order.
  • Handle billing, POS transactions and cash/card/online payments.
  • Attend to customers and ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
  • Receive and process orders through online delivery aggregators.
  • Ensure orders are packed correctly and handed over on time to customers or delivery partners.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and overall upkeep of the outlet.
  • Maintain food, service and presentation standards at the outlet.
  • Support the team during peak hours and assist with day-to-day outlet activities.
  • Follow the Outlet Manager's instructions and company SOPs.

Candidate Profile

  • 2–5 years of experience in QSR, restaurant, retail or hospitality operations.
  • Hands-on experience in QSR food assembly, billing and outlet operations preferred.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling POS and online food-ordering platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outlet environment.
  • QSR/restaurant experience will be preferred.
