About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Website Tester to help ensure our healthcare website is accurate, reliable, and easy to use. Because our platform supports patients and healthcare professionals, quality and attention to detail are essential. You'll be responsible for identifying bugs, usability issues, and inconsistencies before they reach our users, helping us deliver a safe and seamless online experience.

This is a part-time position of around 20 hours per week, with flexibility on how those hours are scheduled.

Key Responsibilities

• Test website functionality across pages, forms, and user journeys to identify bugs, broken links, and errors
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing (desktop, tablet, and mobile)
• Check that content displays correctly and that layouts are consistent and accessible
• Verify that forms, bookings, and any interactive features work as intended
• Document issues clearly with steps to reproduce, screenshots, and severity ratings
• Retest fixes and confirm resolutions
• Provide feedback on usability and the overall user experience
• Support accessibility checks to help meet recognised standards (e.g. WCAG)

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical, thorough approach
• Experience testing websites or web applications (professional or through personal projects)
• Familiarity with different browsers, devices, and operating systems
• Ability to write clear, well-structured bug reports
• Good written communication skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Awareness of healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated sectors
• Understanding of web accessibility standards
• Experience with testing tools or bug-tracking software (e.g. Jira, Trello, or similar)
• Basic understanding of how websites are built (HTML/CSS awareness is a bonus)

Hours & Working Pattern

Approximately 20 hours per week. Flexible scheduling available.
