Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle Forms & Reports (12c/19c).
• Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and Pro*C programs.
• Enhance and modernize existing applications to improve functionality, usability, and performance.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement sustainable solutions.
• Create and maintain Oracle database objects including tables, views, indexes, sequences, and triggers.
• Develop interactive reports, dashboards, charts, and data visualization solutions.
• Manage application deployments and migrations across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Analyze and tune SQL queries, Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL code to maximize application performance.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and deliver high-quality applications.
• Create and maintain technical specifications, support documentation, and user guides.
• Support mission-critical manufacturing and business systems that require high availability and reliability.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Forms & Reports application development.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Developer 12c/19c and Oracle Database 12c/19c.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture and performance optimization techniques.
• Proven ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL code.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate certification.
• Experience migrating Oracle Forms applications across versions (Developer 2000, 6i, 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c).
• Pro*C programming experience.
• Knowledge of XML development and integration.
• Experience with OBIEE, Oracle Analytics, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Understanding of Responsive UI design and Oracle Theme Roller customization.
• Exposure to application modernization and integration with web-based technologies.

Developing and implementing Oracle Forms & Reports-based enterprise applications

Optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code for high-volume, performance-critical systems

Migrating legacy Oracle Forms applications to newer Oracle platforms

Performing query tuning and database performance optimization

Troubleshooting and resolving complex Forms and Reports issues through effective RCA

Supporting and maintaining business-critical applications in 24x7 operational environments
