Job Description:
  • We're looking for talented Software Engineers (Backend) in our Engineering team to build Zippee's tech platform from the ground up.
  • An incredible 0-1 opportunity to work directly with leadership & drive meaningful impact at a high-growth VC-backed quick commerce startup.
  • This is a high-pressure, zero-handholding, unstructured environment, where no task is beneath you if it moves the mission forward. We move fast, we set a high bar, and we’re not for everyone.
    • This is an in-person role (M-F office | Saturday remote) at our Gurgaon HQ.


What you will do:
  • As a backend developer at our fast-growing startup, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services that power our core products and operations. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver scalable APIs and data systems, troubleshoot technical challenges, and continuously improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a top or accredited college.
  • 1-2 years of core backend experience at a SaaS/B2B tech company or startup.
  • Working knowledge of Python, RESTful APIs, RDBMS, Django, MySQL, K8S and AWS concepts.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills & ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to hustle it out in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • A people person with gratitude & integrity.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Prior knowledge/working experience with software products in Quick Commerce, Logistics, E-commerce SaaS, Warehousing, etc.
  • Prior experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
