Job description

We are looking for a skilled PHP Laravel Developer with 2-5 years experience to join our team and help build high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in Laravel framework, backend development, and database management. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to develop and maintain scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using PHP, Codeigniter and Laravel.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
  • Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or Laravel Passport.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components with server-side logic.
  • Maintain code versioning using Git and participate in code reviews.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in PHP and Laravel development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a PHP Laravel Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
  • Experience with Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, and Laravel Artisan commands.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with Git version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
  • Understanding of MVC architecture and best coding practices.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React is a plus).
  • Knowledge of unit testing (PHPUnit, Pest) and debugging techniques.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, Firebase, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Laravel And Codeigniter
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, third-party APIs
