  • Ensure proper receipt, inspection, and documentation of all incoming paper stock from suppliers
  • Issue paper to production as per job orders and maintain proper issue records
  • Monitor stock levels proactively and raise purchase requisitions before stock reaches reorder levels
  • Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with ERP records
  • Maintain proper stacking, labelling, and storage of paper reels and sheets to prevent damage or wastage
  • Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts teams for smooth material flow
  • Maintain supplier-wise GRN (Goods Receipt Note) records and assist in supplier reconciliation
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review
  • Identify slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete stock and report to management
  • Ensure compliance with store procedures, safety norms, and housekeeping standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline; diploma or certification in stores/inventory management preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a store/warehouse role, preferably in paper, printing, packaging, or allied industries
  • Strong working knowledge of paper grades, GSM, sizes, reels, sheets, and related raw materials
  • Proficiency in ERP software — FinSys preferred; candidates with experience in Tally, SAP, or similar ERPs will also be considered
  • Excellent record-keeping skills — written and digital
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to anticipate stock requirements without being prompted
  • Strong eye for detail and zero-error approach to documentation
  • Good communication skills for coordination with internal departments and vendors
  • Physically fit to manage a large-scale paper store environment

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in a book printing, paper mill, or large-scale stationery manufacturing unit
  • Knowledge of import documentation and customs-related paper stock handling
  • Familiarity with barcode/RFID-based inventory tracking systems
  • Working knowledge of GST and basic accounts as related to store management
