Job Summary

The Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical education in Biochemistry, Pathology, and Physiology to students enrolled in paramedical courses such as DMLT, BMLT, and other allied health science programs. The role involves teaching, mentoring students, conducting practical sessions, preparing assessments, and contributing to academic development and institutional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom lectures and practical sessions in Biochemistry, Pathology, and Physiology.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, and laboratory manuals.
• Develop and conduct internal assessments, assignments, and examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance and mentoring.
• Maintain attendance records, practical records, and academic documentation..
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment and consumables.
• Participate in curriculum development, faculty meetings, workshops, and academic events.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Assist during inspections, accreditation processes, and other institutional activities as assigned.

Educational Qualification

• For Biochemistry Faculty: M.Sc. Biochemistry or equivalent qualification.
• For Pathology Faculty: M.Sc. Pathology, M.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), or equivalent qualification.
• For Physiology Faculty: M.Sc. Physiology or equivalent qualification.
• Additional certifications, teaching qualifications, or higher degrees will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a Paramedical, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, or Medical Institute preferred.
• Freshers with excellent academic knowledge and communication skills may also apply.

Required Skills

• Strong subject knowledge in Biochemistry, Pathology, and Physiology.
• Excellent teaching, presentation, and communication skills.
• Student mentoring and classroom management skills.
• Good organizational, documentation, and record-keeping abilities.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with educational technology and presentation tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and administrative teams.

Working Hours

As per institute schedule and academic requirements.
