Full job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paramedic or Nurse to perform home-based diagnostic services for customers. The role involves visiting patients at their homes, collecting samples, conducting basic diagnostic tests, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and offering a customer-friendly healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities:1. Home Diagnostics & Sample Collection
- Perform home visits to collect blood, urine, swab, and other diagnostic samples.
- Conduct basic point-of-care diagnostic tests such as BP, blood sugar, ECG, SPO2, temperature, etc.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols during all procedures.
- Label, store, and transport samples according to clinical guidelines.
2. Patient Interaction & Care
- Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort.
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and friendly approach during home visits.
- Handle elderly, bedridden, and special-needs patients with sensitivity.
3. Reporting & Documentation
- Ensure accurate documentation of collected samples and tests performed.
- Update patient records in the digital system/app in real time.
- Coordinate with labs, diagnostic partners, and backend teams for timely report delivery.
4. Equipment & Safety Management
- Maintain diagnostic equipment, ensuring cleanliness, calibration, and readiness.
- Follow all infection control protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunction or safety concerns immediately.
5. Customer Experience & Support
- Provide excellent customer service to build trust and encourage repeat usage.
- Resolve minor patient queries or escalate complex medical concerns to supervisors.
- Work closely with call center and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, ANM, GNM, BSc Nursing, DMLT, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical or diagnostic experience preferred.
- Strong skills in sample collection, venipuncture, home care assistance, and basic diagnostics.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Good communication skills (local language + basic English).
- Smartphone familiarity for updating digital records.
- Willingness to travel for home visits.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with home healthcare or diagnostic services.
- Ability to calm anxious patients and maintain professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of handling emergency situations (CPR, first aid).
