About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented designer to develop visually engaging exhibits using pre-prepared content. The role involves translating ideas, text, and concepts into compelling visual formats that enhance storytelling and learning experiences—especially for children.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining design with purpose, and has an interest in showcasing Indian heritage, culture, and traditions in meaningful ways.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop exhibit panels, installations, and visual layouts using Adobe InDesign
- Translate provided content into engaging, age-appropriate visual formats
- Work on layout design, typography, and visual hierarchy to enhance readability and impact
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure accuracy and coherence in presentation
- Prepare print-ready files and ensure design quality standards are met
- Adapt designs for different formats (panels, posters, learning spaces, etc.)
- Incorporate cultural and heritage elements in the indian context thoughtfully into design work
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design or exhibit/visual design
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign (knowledge of Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus)
- Good understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a freelance/part-time setup
- Based in Bangalore (preferred for occasional in-person coordination)
