Madrix Media is looking for enthusiastic, well-organised and professional individuals to assist with corporate events, conferences, exhibitions and networking sessions in Chennai.

This is a flexible, event-based opportunity suitable for college students, freshers and individuals looking for part-time assignments alongside their studies or other commitments.

Please note: This is not a full-time position or a regular daily job. Work will be offered based on upcoming event schedules and staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the reception and event registration desk.
• Welcome guests, delegates, speakers and visitors.
• Assist with attendee registration and verification.
• Distribute name badges, event kits and other event materials.
• Maintain registration lists and assist with basic data entry.
• Guide attendees to the appropriate halls, sessions and seating areas.
• Respond to general guest enquiries and provide on-site assistance.
• Coordinate with the event management team to ensure smooth event operations.

Requirements

• College students and freshers are welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
• Friendly, professional and confident when interacting with guests.
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, responsible and willing to work as part of a team.
• Available to travel to event venues across Chennai as required.
• Flexible availability for occasional weekday, evening and weekend events.

Compensation and Working Hours

• Payment: ₹1,000–₹1,500 per event, depending on the assignment.
• Working hours: Approximately 4–8 hours per event.
• Food: Provided during the event.
• Work schedule: Flexible and based on upcoming event requirements.
• Work location: Corporate event venues, conference centres and exhibition venues across Chennai.
• Experience: Freshers are welcome; prior event experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Event details, reporting time, venue, expected duty hours and payment will be communicated before each assignment.
