Job Title: Head Pastry Chef
Department: Bakery / Kitchen
Reports To: Executive chef

Job Summary:

The Pastry Chef assists in preparing pastries, desserts, and baked items under the supervision of the Executive Chef. The role involves learning baking techniques, maintaining hygiene, and supporting day-to-day pastry operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts.
  • Follow recipes and instructions given by the Pastry Chef.
  • Ensure proper mise-en-place before service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry section.
  • Properly store ingredients and finished goods.
  • Support inventory checks and report low stock.
  • Learn and develop pastry-making skills.
