Job Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support business decisions in the jewellery sector. The role involves analyzing sales trends, customer preferences, inventory movement, and pricing strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from sales, inventory, and customer databases
• Track performance of jewellery products (e.g., gold, diamond, platinum categories)
• Identify trends in customer buying behavior and seasonal demand
• Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Monitor stock levels and suggest inventory optimization strategies
• Analyze pricing, margins, and discount effectiveness
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and procurement teams
• Provide actionable insights to improve revenue and reduce costs
• Forecast demand based on historical and market data
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Experience in data cleaning, analysis, and reporting
• Understanding of retail or jewellery business is a plus
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills to explain insights to non-technical teams

• Typically office-based with collaboration across departments
• May require working with large datasets and tight deadlines during peak seasons (festivals, wedding periods)

Pay: ₹302,315.91 - ₹1,296,359.66 per year
