Job Overview:

IIC Lakshya is seeking a talented and creative Cinematographer to lead the production of high-quality visual content, including both videos and photos. The Cinematographer will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all aspects of shoots, ensuring they align with the brand’s vision. This role also involves coordinating with external studios for shoot arrangements when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video and Photo Production: Lead the production of videos and photos from concept to completion. This includes pre-production planning, shooting, and overseeing post-production to ensure that all visual content meets high creative standards.
• Shoot Planning & Execution: Plan and execute in-house shoots for a wide range of content, including promotional videos, educational content, social media visuals, and event coverage. Ensure effective use of lighting, camera techniques, and sound for both video and photography.
• Coordination with External Studios: Coordinate with external studios and vendors when required for large-scale shoots, ensuring all logistical aspects are arranged smoothly and meet project requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with content writers, graphic designers, video editors, and creative directors to ensure cohesive visual content that complements the overall creative strategy. Work with faculties and departments to create engaging educational and promotional content.
• Creative Direction & Input: Provide creative input during shoots, offering ideas on framing, lighting, scene composition, and shot selection to ensure visually compelling output. Work closely with the creative team to develop innovative storytelling techniques.
• Equipment Management: Manage and operate all video and photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and sound equipment. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, and oversee the setup for each shoot.
• Post-Production Coordination: Collaborate with video editors and graphic designers in post-production to ensure that final outputs align with the project’s creative vision. Provide feedback on video cuts, color grading, and photo edits when necessary.
• Time & Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all shoots, video edits, and photos. Ensure smooth coordination between pre-production, production, and post-production phases.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cinematographer, with a strong portfolio in both video and photography.
• Proficiency with professional video and photography equipment, lighting setups, and audio recording tools.
• Strong visual storytelling skills, with expertise in framing, composition, and camera techniques.
• Experience coordinating with external studios and vendors for shoot arrangements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a creative team.
• Knowledge of video editing and photography software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
