Job Title: Nursing Attendant / Patient Care Attendant

Job Summary

A Nursing Attendant provides basic patient care and daily living assistance to patients at their homes. The role focuses on maintaining patient comfort, hygiene, safety, mobility, and emotional well-being under the guidance of nurses and healthcare professionals. (Portea)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Support feeding and meal assistance.
  • Help patients with walking, transferring, and mobility activities.
  • Monitor basic vital signs and report health changes to supervisors.
  • Provide medication reminders as instructed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the patient's room and surroundings.
  • Assist with exercise and rehabilitation activities.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and elderly individuals.
  • Accompany patients for appointments if required.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times. (Portea)

Eligibility

  • Minimum 8th Pass / 10th Pass (depending on role requirement).
