About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and disciplined Portfolio Manager to manage and optimize stock market investments from research to execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in equity research, portfolio allocation, risk management, and wealth creation strategies within the Indian stock market.
The role involves end-to-end management of investment portfolios, including stock analysis, market monitoring, investment planning, and performance reporting.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Management
- Build and manage equity investment portfolios based on financial goals and risk appetite
- Develop long-term wealth creation strategies
- Maintain diversification across sectors and market caps
- Rebalance portfolios periodically based on market conditions
Equity Research & Analysis
- Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of listed companies
- Analyze financial statements, valuations, and business models
- Monitor quarterly results, corporate announcements, and sector trends
- Identify high-growth and undervalued investment opportunities
Investment Strategy
- Create short-term and long-term investment strategies
- Decide stock allocation, entry points, and exit strategies
- Recommend investment opportunities based on market trends and research
Risk Management
- Implement portfolio risk management strategies
- Monitor volatility and downside risks
- Maintain stop-loss and capital preservation mechanisms
- Track market corrections and macroeconomic risks
Market Monitoring
- Track Indian and global market developments
- Monitor economic indicators, interest rates, inflation, and policy changes
- Analyze sector-wise performance and market cycles
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare periodic portfolio performance reports
- Present investment rationale and recommendations
- Conduct portfolio review meetings
- Maintain investment documentation and tracking systems
Compliance & Tax Awareness
- Maintain understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements
- Support tax-efficient investment planning and capital gains tracking
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, MBA, CFA, or related field
- Strong understanding of Indian stock markets (NSE/BSE)
- Expertise in fundamental and technical analysis
- Knowledge of portfolio construction and asset allocation
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and market research tools
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to manage investments during volatile market conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- SEBI Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or Research Analyst certification preferred
- Experience in managing personal or client portfolios
- Knowledge of valuation models and financial ratios
- Familiarity with platforms like TradingView, Screener, Moneycontrol, Bloomberg, etc.
Experience Required
- 2–8 years of experience in portfolio management, equity research, wealth management, or investment advisory
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
