Full job description

ABOUT TROVE - (MON -SAT WORKING)

Monday to Saturday Trove Innovations (India) Pvt. Ltd. is one of India’s fastest growing premium tile brand, headquartered in Bangalore. With a rapidly expanding network of Experience Centres and a growing team, Trove operates at a scale that demands financial discipline, accuracy, and leadership. We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can take complete ownership of our finance function and build a high-performing accounts team.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Senior Accountant at Trove, you will own the end-to-end accounting operations of the company — from day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations to financial reporting, compliance, and team management. You will lead a team of 3 and report directly to the CFO, playing a key role in keeping Trove’s financial engine running with precision and integrity.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

1. Full Accounts Management

  • Oversee all accounting operations for Trove Innovations — including sales, purchases, expenses, payroll entries, and inter-entity transactions.
  • Ensure books are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready at all times.
  • Review and approve journal entries, vouchers, and ledger postings made by the team.
  • Own month-end and year-end closing processes — including accruals, provisions, and finalisation of accounts.

2. Financial Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare monthly MIS reports covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and expense summaries for CFO review.
  • Track key financial metrics across business units and flag variances to the CFO on time.
  • Maintain accurate cost centre-wise reporting to support business decision-making. ▸ Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Oversee vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, and creditor reconciliations.
  • Monitor debtor ageing and drive timely collection from customers and franchisee units.
  • Maintain accurate AP/AR ledgers and ensure no overdue entries remain unresolved. 4. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Management
  • Supervise daily and monthly bank reconciliation across all company accounts.
  • Manage petty cash, fund transfers, and banking relationships in coordination with the CFO.
  • Ensure all NEFT/RTGS/cheque transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.

5. Statutory Compliance & Filing

  • Own end-to-end GST compliance — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 annual return, reconciliation with books, and timely filing without consultant dependency.
  • Manage TDS — correct deduction, challan payment, quarterly returns (24Q, 26Q), and Form 16/16A issuance.
  • Ensure PF, ESI, and Professional Tax contributions are accurately computed, paid on time, and returns filed monthly/annually.
  • Maintain a compliance calendar covering all statutory due dates — no missed filings, no penalties.
  • Support external and internal auditors with complete, organised documentation and respond to audit queries independently.

6. Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3 accountants — assigning tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring quality output.
  • Build a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the accounts team.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, resolve escalations, and develop team capability over time.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
