Full Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive / Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation compliance, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and accounting software, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

This role is ideal for professionals seeking growth in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation within a structured and fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day books of accounts including Journal, Ledger, Cash Book, and Bank Book
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) and ensure timely reconciliations
Perform bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and expense management
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, debit/credit notes, and expense vouchers
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
File GST returns, TDS returns, and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
Maintain proper financial documentation and records
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and taxation
Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred) and MS Office
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
Experience in bank reconciliation, invoicing, and vendor management
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced accounting environment
