Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: [COIMBATORE]
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply)
Salary: ₹30,000–₹40,000 per month (Based on experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of quality inspection methods, measuring instruments, and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Record inspection results and prepare quality reports.
  • Identify non-conforming products and report quality issues.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to improve product quality.
  • Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Experience with 7 QC Tools, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries.
