Restaurant Manager – Burma Burma Restaurant & Tea Rooms

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth service.
  • Lead, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including stewards, servers, and supervisors.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Monitor restaurant sales, costs, inventory, and wastage.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service.
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service-related issues professionally.
  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and shift allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food-safety standards, and workplace procedures.
  • Conduct staff briefings and monitor team performance.
  • Coordinate with management regarding sales targets, operational issues, and improvements.
  • Ensure the restaurant is properly set up before service and closed according to procedures.
  • Support promotional activities and help improve customer satisfaction and restaurant performance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or Restaurant Supervisor.
  • Experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Good knowledge of restaurant operations and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to manage staff and work effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good knowledge of English; knowledge of Hindi/Kannada is an advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
