Full job description

We are looking for a highly organised and execution-focused Business Manager – Operations to support and coordinate operations across our multi-outlet restaurant group in Surat and Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operational activities across 7 restaurant outlets, central production kitchen, and catering/events operations.
  • Maintain a clear weekly overview of outlet performance, staffing gaps, guest complaints, maintenance issues, audit findings, and ongoing projects.
  • Track operational issues and action points from assignment through actual closure.
  • Conduct regular outlet visits across Surat and Ahmedabad to understand ground-level operational status and identify gaps.
  • Coordinate with Operations, HR, Kitchen, Food Safety, Maintenance, Tech, and other department heads for smooth execution.
  • Support new outlet openings, menu launches, events, licence renewals, vendor onboarding, and other cross-functional projects.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, document key decisions, maintain action trackers, and follow up with responsible stakeholders.
  • Identify delays and operational blockers early and escalate them to management when required.
  • Support urgent operational escalations and coordinate with the appropriate teams for quick resolution.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude for reporting, task management, communication, data summarisation, and workflow automation.
  • Build simple systems, trackers, and processes to reduce repetitive manual work and improve execution speed.

Candidate Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in Food & Beverage, Restaurant Operations, Hotel Operations, Area/Cluster Operations, or Central Operations.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of restaurant and floor operations.
  • Excellent coordination, follow-up, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable coordinating with senior department heads and driving accountability without direct reporting authority.
  • Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • Comfortable using technology and AI tools for day-to-day work.
  • Willing to travel regularly between Surat and Ahmedabad.
  • Flexible to support operational escalations during evenings or weekends when required.

Location: Surat, Gujarat (Regular travel to Ahmedabad)
Experience: 4–8 Years

Salary: ₹8–12 LPA, depending on experience

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
