Restaurant Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent guest service, and lead the Food & Beverage team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
• Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff.
• Ensure high standards of guest service and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service standards.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
• Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor sales, revenue, costs, and departmental targets.
• Control food, beverage, and operational costs and minimize wastage.
• Ensure proper stock control and coordinate with the Stores/Purchase team.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance and manpower requirements.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments.
• Conduct briefings and ensure effective communication within the team.
• Support promotional activities and initiatives to increase restaurant revenue.
• Maintain required operational records and reports.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in restaurant/hotel operations.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and service standards.
• Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
• Leadership and team-management abilities.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Hotel management qualification is preferred.
