Job Title: Restaurant Captain – Fine Dining

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Steward & Captain to join our premium dining outlet. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Operations

  • Ensure smooth operations within the assigned section during each shift.
  • Verify that tables are properly set and guests receive timely service.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and serve guests professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality and service etiquette.
  • Assist with guest seating and reservation management when required.

Team Leadership

  • Lead pre-shift briefings and ensure effective handovers between shifts.
  • Set a positive example by following company values and service standards.
  • Guide, support, and coach team members to maintain service excellence.
  • Recommend high-performing employees for recognition and appreciation.
  • Act as the point of contact in the manager's absence.

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Promote signature dishes, special menus, and beverage offerings.
  • Support upselling initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints professionally within 5 minutes of escalation.
  • Communicate daily specials and unavailable items to the service team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Captain or 2 years as a Trainee Captain.
  • Good communication and basic leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of food, beverages, and restaurant service standards.
  • Positive attitude with a strong guest-focused approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Immediate joiners will be preferred.
